Proposal 2015/0269 update. By way of the LIBE committee the European Commission has submitted more amendments to ensure replicas and airsoft are not classified as firearms. So even the EC think that classifying replicas as Cat C firearms is a terrible idea. So we’re heading the right way, but the show isn’t over till the Parliament votes on the amendments and negotiates the final document with the EC.
