UKAPU is in need of Secretary.
The role involves organising a time and date for our Skype meetings (usually one evening every 6 weeks) every one of which we would need you to attend. You will also be booking a venue for the AGM, taking minutes at all meetings and replying to all website/Facebook message enquiries (or forwarding them to the right person). As a committee member your voice and vote will be important in shaping the future of the association and UK airsoft.
It’s not a time consuming role but it does need someone proactive and self motivating because all of your duties will be vital to the ongoing function of UKAPU. Other committee members are often busy enough with other work and can’t waste time chasing the Secretary up.
The role is voluntary and of course unpaid (though expenses are covered). You must be a UK based airsoft player and have no commercial interests in airsoft to be eligible to sit on the committee.
We also need regional representatives for Wales, Northern Ireland, Midlands, East England and South West.
Please PM us if interested. We are currently the thin line between the airsoft game and horrible restrictions, and the guys on the committee can’t keep fighting without more backup. We need your help.
